Objective: Define and identify a variety of musical forms and structures; Aurally identify types of music ensembles and their components.

 

Standard (Competency): Students can identify musical components of both an instrumental and vocal score; Students can aurally and visually analyze a listening example regarding phrase and a variety of forms.

 

Plan (Activity): Students will listen to each of 8 audio clips played by the instructor, and write down instrument being played, and the frequency of the sound

 

Assessment: At the conclusion of the 8 clips, the instructor will collected the responses, go over the correct answers, and determine a grade.
